The Clyde W Wilkey Achievement Award has been established to express the respect and esteem that Tyrian Lodge No. 333 holds for a particularly outstanding Brother of the Lodge. Awarded to Brethren who have become pillars of the Lodge, it is indicative of a Brother whom has left an indelible mark, whose performance, bearing, and spirit should be an example for all Brothers to follow.
ELIGIBILITY
Master Mason in Good Standing
Voting Member of Tyrian Lodge No. 333 for a minimum of Five (5) Years
NOMINATION
May be nominated by any of the following:
Current or Past Worshipful Master
Any Master Mason and Voting Member of Tyrian Lodge No. 333 for a minimum of Ten (10) Years
The nomination shall be made in Open Lodge during a Stated Meeting
The nomination shall require a Second
The nomination must be announced and held over until the next Stated Meeting
VOTING
Voting will be held by Secret Ballot in Open Lodge during a Stated Meeting
A Clear Ballot shall be defined as all Yay votes, excepting no more than two Nay votes.
In the event of a Cloudy Ballot, at the Worshipful Master's discretion, a new Secret Ballot may be called. This second ballot shall be the final ballot for the nomination.
In the event of a Cloudy Ballot:
A candidate may not be renominated for a period of One (1) Year from the date of the Cloudy Ballot
There is no restriction on how many times a candidate may be nominated nor balloted upon
AWARD
The award shall be presented at a special event, including a special meal, and may or may not include a public presentation (at the recipient's discretion).
This may include a dinner before a Stated Meeting, during a Stated Meeting (at refreshment for public presentation, duing Open Lodge for a private presentation), or at another location with dinner.
POSTHUMOUS AWARD
A candidate may be nominated posthumously, and, with the unanimous consent of the Worshipful Master and the Wardens, the award may be provisionally granted during the recipient's Masonic Services.
Such provisional award must be confirmed by a ballot during the next Stated Meeting, under the same guidelines as specified above.
